Bride and groom in a garden, text reads "Delaware Venue Highlight" and "Top 5 Photo Spots for Baywood Greens Wedding," with lush scenery.

So you've found the wedding venue of your dreams, and it just so happens to be Baywood Greens in Millsboro, Delaware. When you're dropping some serious cash on planning the perfect wedding day, you want to make sure you can maximize your photo opportunities without compromising the time you have to celebrate with your guests.

Wedding photography obviously plays a critical role on your wedding day, but you don't want to waste the whole day smiling for the camera. That's why it's essential you plan ahead to make sure you know exactly what shots you need to get before you arrive on site.

Here are the 5 best photo spots you absolutely have to hit when you're getting married at Baywood Greens in Delaware!

Baywood Greens Wedding Photo Spot 1: The Clubhouse Balcony

A couple waves from a balcony overlooking lush green fields and distant trees on Baywood Greens golf course. The woman wears a white dress, and the scene is serene.

I'm a lover of rain on wedding days, and it just so happened that the rainy weather forced us to use one of the most overlooked spots for photos - a literal overlook!

The couple shared their first look and private vow reading on a clubhouse balcony, and it gave them an incredible view of the golf course, their reception tent, and their bridal party (cue the Princess Kate and William wave!).

This private, quiet spot was the perfect place for them to start their wedding day together. It's a must-have photo spot when you get married at Baywood.

Baywood Greens Wedding Photo Spot 2: The Elevator

The clubhouse has the perfect elevator to recreate those viral photos that have a timeless, vintage aesthetic. The golden doors give you such a gorgeous backdrop for that direct flash, late night look where things are getting a little steamy because you can't keep your hands off your new spouse.

This couple totally nailed this look, especially because the bride changed into her short reception dress that made her look like a beautiful bridal ballerina. Absolutely iconic!

Baywood Greens Wedding Photo Spot 3: On the Green

You don't book a wedding at a spot called Baywood Greens and not take photos on the green. That would be crazy.

Other golf courses we've photographed for weddings prohibited couples from posing on the green, but Baywood offered the couple a golf cart and brought them to the most beautiful spot imaginable. This floral-covered bridge was nothing short of jaw-dropping, and the golfers on the other side of the of the walkway patiently waited for us to get the perfect shot (and offered a congratulatory cheer when we drove off).

Baywood Greens Wedding Spot 4: Behind the Clubhouse

Wedding party in suits and dresses walking joyfully outside the baywood greens clubhouse. Bride in white, groom in beige, surrounded by greenery and brick backdrop.

If you love the look of brick like I do, the back of the clubhouse is the perfect spot to get those big group shots. Even though the golf course crew was working on setting up the tent for the big reception, there was so much space to spread out and get those wide group shots. That space is especially important when you have double digit groomsmen and bridesmaids like this crew did!

This spot also played a great role later on in the evening because the staircase looked fantastic even as it rained.

Baywood Greens Wedding Spot 5: Under the Big Top

A couple dances under warm, glowing lights. The woman raises her arms joyously. The setting has a festive atmosphere with a sepia inset.

This couple's tented reception gave them the perfect place to dance the night away, plus it gave the photo and video team the ability to get some timeless shots of the whole crew partying!

The smoke machines from the live band and their amazing lights made these photos reflect how much fun the entire guest list had on this incredible night. When booking your wedding entertainment, whether it's a live band or a DJ, make sure you invest in someone who's really going to bring it with lights and fog machines - it makes a big difference in the ambience of a tent wedding.
